About Jones Construction Company in Rapid City, SD
Ross Jones started Jones Construction Company in 1990 after working in the construction industry for seven years. Since then, the construction firm has become one of the most reputable home builders in the Black Hills and Rapid City, SD area.
Together with his wife, Melanie, Ross has brought his long-time passion for home construction, carpentry, woodworking, and craftsmanship to every job site. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Technology in 1983. Jones Construction Company employs a team of experienced carpenters and works with dedicated subcontractors.
Ross oversees all building aspects as well as does much of excavation work himself. Each member of the carpentry team takes pride in their craftsmanship and has great attention to detail. They complete the framing, exterior finish, and interior trim finish work on every home we build. Melanie assists with scheduling, assisting clients with selections and design, bid process, and all office management work. Both are committed to customer satisfaction and have a strong customer service philosophy. Every member of the team is committed to delivering to clients the custom home of their dreams, on time and within budget, without sacrificing quality.
Jones Construction Company is an active member in the Black Hills Home Builder Association (BHHBA) and has won "Best of Show" in the Annual BHHBA Parade of Homes, as well as Builder of the Year in 1995. In April 2015, Ross Jones was inducted into the BHHBA Hall of Fame for his work and dedication on a local and state level.
We are currently working on the Carmel Point Townhomes in Rapid City with 2 units under construction and one lot left for two additional units.
